Founding Story
Growing up in a single-parent household, I experienced first-hand the challenges of navigating career decisions without guidance. This personal journey, marked by trials, setbacks, and moments of unexpected opportunity, ignited my passion to establish Bee an Angel Foundation. Our team, comprising individuals with similar backgrounds, shares a collective commitment to rewriting the narrative for young people in township and rural communities, not only in South Africa but globally.
With 70% of our team members being small business owners or aspiring entrepreneurs, we intimately understand the hurdles and isolation often faced on the entrepreneurial path. This insight fuels our Small Business Support Program, designed to provide essential resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities to empower budding entrepreneurs.
Additionally, my profound connection with my late grandmother, who played a pivotal role in shaping my life, inspired the creation of a dedicated division within Bee an Angel Foundation focused on elderly care. Witnessing her struggle for proper care in her final days compelled me to establish a sanctuary where seniors can receive compassionate support and cultivate meaningful connections. This endeavour is not just a tribute to her memory but a commitment to providing a nurturing environment where the elderly can thrive with dignity and companionship.
